Angie Witmer

Angie WitmerAngie is a life-long Iowan who came to Plymouth in March 2000 as the Minister to Young Adults and Youth. In September 2011, Angie became Plymouth’s Minister of Small Groups. In both capacities, Angie has created spaces for people to enter into relationship with one another and encounter God in the most ordinary and extra-ordinary ways through worship, confirmation classes, the Faith Stepping Stones program and small group ministries.

Besides being an ordained UCC minister, Angie is certified as a Brain-Based Education Specialist (Jensen Learning) and an Integral Developmental Coach (New Ventures West). She is currently working toward certification as an Enneagram instructor (Enneagram Institute). Using these tools and drawing on her experience, Angie serves as a workshop facilitator, consultant and coach for individuals, churches and organizations throughout North America to help dream up, create and implement brain-friendly, integral programs and opportunities that will enable people to grow deeper in faith as they strengthen relationships with one another and with God.

Angie loves to learn, teach, listen to music, travel, read, laugh, eat, make music with friends, drink coffee, listen to people’s stories, and run (not necessarily in that order). She still believes that she has the best job in the whole wide world.
