Angie is a licensed minister in the United Church of Christ. She came to Plymouth in 2000 from the UCC church in Gilman.
 

Angie launched the Saturday evening casual worship at Plymouth and the Head to the Heart confirmation program for 7th and 8th graders and their families. She has helped lead the formation of Plymouth Youth ministries, including study groups, just-for-fun events and service projects. In addition, Angie introduced and shepherds Faith Stepping Stones, a birth-to-graduation process that cements family and faith. Outside Plymouth, Angie is a workshop leader and trainer for Faith Inkubators.
 

Her husband Paul is the minister at Covenant Christian Church in Urbandale.  Angie’s daughter Bailey and Paul’s kids Ben and Hannah are energetic teenagers. The family shares their Des Moines home with a wonder dog and several cats.
