Barb Godwin

Barb, a native of Des Moines, grew up at Plymouth Church. She earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education from Drake and her master’s degree in education from Central State University in Oklahoma. She also is a graduate of the Iowa UCC’s two-year CENTER program for Christian educators.
 
During her eight-year teaching career, Barb worked with junior high and high school students with learning disabilities in Oklahoma City, Des Moines and Anchorage. She has worked in Christian education at Plymouth since 1986.
 
Barb especially enjoys taking young people on mission trips. In addition, she is mom to two adult children, Adam and Jessica.
