Raised in Williamsburg, PA, Matt’s bachelor’s degree is from Messiah College in Grantham, PA, and his master of divinity degree is from Princeton Theological Seminary.  

 

Matt joined Plymouth in 2005 after serving three years as the solo pastor of a church in Little Neck, NY. At Plymouth, he staffs the Center for Spiritual Growth, which offers a constantly evolving and wide ranging curriculum for adults each year.

 

Matt’s wife Mary Beth serves as associate pastor for spiritual development at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Downtown dwellers, they enjoy the arts and culture scene in Des Moines.
