Pat, who grew up in Ohio and Kentucky, moved to Des Moines more than 30 years ago. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Drake and a master of divinity degree from St. Paul School of Theology.

 

Before coming to Plymouth in 1999, Pat was half-time minister at Runnells Christian Church and half-time chaplain at Hospice of Central Iowa. Prior to that, she served as chaplain at Ramsey Home. Among her duties here are hospital and nursing home visits, the Stephen Ministry program and officiating at most funerals.

 

Pat enjoys reading, music, travel and entertaining. She is married to Bob Oberbillig, who is a semi-retired attorney. Between them, they have five adult children and 11 grandchildren.
