At Plymouth, seventh and eighth graders and their parents participate in Confirmation, Stone 7 in our Faith Stepping Stones program.

 

Confirmation is two years of Theme Nights. Two years of service projects. Two years of learning, fun and friendship in small groups and whole-group fellowship. It is the time when kids wrestle with what it means to be a Christian, what it means to be a member of Plymouth, what it means to discover and use their own gifts and talents, what it means to serve others.

 

Confirmation at Plymouth involves young people, their parents, Confirmation Guides, staff, and many others from our congregation and the community.

 

On Confirmation Sunday, young people not only confirm the promises made at the time of their baptism, but also assume responsibility for their own continued growth in faith within the supportive community of the Church.
