NEW!! PLYMOUTH WOMEN ADVENTURE GROUPS
Adventure groups are comprised of 8 women who commit for one year to meet together two times a season (autumn, winter, spring and summer) to experience safe, liberating adventures to enhance the mind, body, and spirit. In addition to enriching their lives and friendships with fellow adventurers, women will engage in acts of kindness related to their adventures as tangible expressions of their energy, enthusiasm and gratitude. Goals of participation are to cultivate friendships with other Plymouth women who are eager to learn, love and grow; experience adventures that keep the spirit of wonder and learning alive; discover acts of kindness related to the adventure that enhance the adventure itself and remind us that opportunities for spreading God's grace surround us all the time.
Registration period is August 13, 2008 -- September 19, 2008 with kick-off event Tuesday, September 30, 2008., 7:00 pm, Greenwood Room. On-site child care is offered with nursing or reticent children welcome to attend with their moms. Meetings consist of social time as well as periodic speakers on topics interesting to women and moms. Additional evening activities are sometimes planned.
Program and Activity Schedule
- Monday Evening Book Club: On the fourth Monday of each month throughout the year we gather at 7:30 p.m. either in the host’s home or at a local restaurant.
