To be married at Plymouth, the bride or groom must be a member of Plymouth Church for at least one year or be the child or grandchild of a current member.

 

A Plymouth minister presides at all weddings in the church. We try to accommodate requests for a family member or a close friend who is a minister to participate in the wedding service.
 

The Plymouth minister leads couples through marriage preparation sessions, when the bride and groom have an opportunity to consider the meaning of marriage, examine personal expectations, ask questions, and share in wedding service planning.

 

If you wish to have a Plymouth wedding, first check the availability of the church on the dates you are considering by calling Paula Wilkerson in the church office, 515.255.3149 Ext. 14, or contacting her at pwilkerson@plymouthchurch.com. She will provide a wedding information booklet, which includes an application form and further details about being married at Plymouth.
