At Plymouth Church, we don’t take the Bible literally, but we do take the Bible seriously. We believe that this strange collection of stories can tell us who we are, who God is. In its pages, we discover what God wants for us and for the world.

And we believe the best way to read the Bible is together ­–discussing it, sharing perspectives, listening to each other. Our still- speaking God is most often heard in the voices of other people.

So we make time for Bible Study at Plymouth Church: at the church on Wednesday mornings (9:30 a.m., September to May), and in homes, at coffee shops, in restaurants, in any place where people can gather to read and wrestle together. God is still speaking. We’re just trying to listen…together.
