Plymouth Women’s Scholarship

These scholarships are awarded once a year to up to four college students who are preparing for a career in service such as seminary, social work, education, medicine, etc. Applicants must be a junior, senior or graduate student in a college or university. Plymouth members are given preference, but any qualified person may apply. There will be three scholarships awarded this year.

Application packets are available from the Plymouth Church office, or download the 2020 PW Scholarship Form PDF here. All forms and supporting material must be returned to the church office or submitted online to the committee chair by March 31, 2020.

The Scholarship Committee of the Board of Plymouth Women is funded by the estates of Susan B. Turner, Opal Jordan and Mary and Frederick Royal.

 

Marie Green Scholarship

The Marie Green Award is given each year to two outstanding high school seniors who have been actively involved in the life of Plymouth Church. As both participants and leaders, they have learned from their experiences and have also given back to Plymouth through their involvement. Marie Green grants are intended for use in buying books, art materials, musical instruments, or other special equipment. Two scholarships are awarded in the amount of $750 each. Application deadline: Monday, April 8, 2019.
