Food Pantry Collections

Food Pantry Weekend is the second Sunday of every month. Plymouth’s Church School classes lead the charge to feed our hungry neighbors by filling our Little Red Wagons.

Elementary students will receive grocery bags the first Sunday of each month to take home, fill and return the following Sunday. Cash donations are accepted this year as well. The wagons will be placed by the collection bins outside Waveland Hall to show just how much food our Church School families collected.

EVERYONE is encouraged to contribute, too, by dropping your donations of non-perishable food items in the appropriately marked collection bins. Or make a cash donation by writing a check to Plymouth Church (list DMARC Food Pantry in the memo line) and drop it in the collection plate or in the church office. Your support is greatly appreciated.

The Red Wagon Food Pantry collection dates for the 2016-2017 program year are:

Oct. 9 – food and cash collection
Nov. 13 – collect money for turkeys
Dec. 11 – food and cash collection
Jan. 15 – food and cash collection
Feb. 12 – food and cash collection
Mar. 19 – food and cash collection
May 14 – food and cash collection
