February Lunch & Learn
For our Lunch and Learn on Feb. 20, members of Plymouth’s Anti-Racism Committee will discuss the 1619 Project. On Jan. 22, over 100 Plymouth members began participating in this six-week study of the contributions of black Americans and the many ways the legacy of slavery continues to shape society in the United States. What has been learned so far in the sessions? How are we all enriched by others’ perspectives of history? What are some local opportunities available to us to make change? Please join us for what will surely be a fascinating presentation! Enjoy a delicious lunch at 12:15 p.m.; the 35-50 minute program follows at 12:40. Cost for the meal is $10. If you will bring your own lunch, let us know when registering so you are not charged.
Register before noon on Tuesday, Feb. 18 by phone (515.255.3149); in person (Sunday, Feb. 16 in Waveland Hall); or with the form below. All are welcome!
We're sorry, registrations for lunch closed on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at noon. You are still welcome to attend the program only.
