Family Promise of Greater Des Moines helps to provide temporary housing to homeless families with children. Services include helping obtain permanent housing; employment if needed; and services to help stabilize the family structure until permanent housing is obtained.

Metro area Churches participate by providing temporary housing and meals or financial support to Family Promise. As a “Supporting” Church, Plymouth Church provides designated donations from Plymouth members to help sustain Family Promise’s office; counseling and day care centers; and employee salaries and benefits. Donations for Family Promise may be made to Plymouth Church by designating the donation for “Family Promise.”
