Ash Wednesday this year is on February 22 to begin this season of lent. We invite you to join us for a time of blessing, prayer, and imposition of Ashes. Four opportunities to mark the beginning of Lent:
7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. | Ashes to Go
Drive up into the Circle Drive and our Stephen Ministers and Plymouth pastors will offer Ashes to Go. Ashes and a blessing will be provided as you remain in the comfort of your car.
12:15 p.m. | Word & Table Service
A brief earlier option in the Sanctuary to experience full prayer and meditation and the imposition of ashes as we prepare for Holy Lent.
6:15 p.m. | Young Family Service
Following Children’s Choir rehearsals, families are invited to join us in Waveland Hall for pizza (beginning at 6 p.m.) and a family-focused service.
7:30 p.m. | Ash Wednesday Service
Join us in the Sanctuary for a full traditional service of prayer, meditation, music, and the imposition of the ashes as we prepare for a Holy Lent.
8:15 p.m. | HS Youth Service in the Youth Room
Following Matins Choir rehearsal, all high school youth are invited to a join us in the Youth Room for the youth service.
