Race Matters: Confronting the Roots of Human Trafficking
The Plymouth Task Force of Des Moines is hosting Luana Nelson-Brown, MSPH on Thursday, January 28. She will be discuss ending the demand for human trafficking through the lens of racial justice. Luana is the Executive Director of the Iowa Coalition for Collective Change. This organization provides training and technical assistance to culturally specific anti-violence organizations, homicide response programs and organizations and corporations wishing to adopt and implement anti-racist policies and procedures.
