Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper March 1!
Every year the Deacons sponsor a Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper to celebrate the start of the Lenten Season. We are happy to announce a return to in-person dining with the renowned Chris Cakes.

The proceeds from the supper benefit our Plymouth Good Samaritan Fund. The Good Samaritan Fund allows our ministers to directly help people who find themselves temporarily stuck in a place of immediate need. This year when so many have unprecedented challenges, The Good Samaritan Fund is more important that ever. The Deacons ask that you consider attending the Pancake Supper or making a donation to the Good Samaritan Fund or both!

Your $8 ticket affords you all the pancakes you can eat. The Deacons will be there to ensure you have plentiful accompaniments and beverages. As in the past, you may purchase tickets from any Deacon or at the door. If you prefer to make a reservation, please email PlymouthPancakes@gmail.com and we will have your tickets waiting for you at the door. Donations may be made online at plymouthchurch.com/give Please remember to enter Good Samaritan Fund in the space provided for a donation note.

Please join us 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1 in Waveland Hall. Additional seating will be available in Burling and Greenwood rooms as well as the Coffee Shop. You will enjoy a delicious pancake indulgence and help fund a very worthy cause.

Pancakes Available for Take Out!
Each $8 order will include 4 pancakes, 2 sausage links, and blueberries. Individual containers of margarine, syrup, and applesauce will be included.

Between 4:30 to 6 p.m. on March 1, come to the 42nd Street Circle Drive and let us know if you placed a pre-order. Pre-ordering is nice, but not necessary. Pre-orders can be placed by emailing plymouthpancakes@gmail.com or by text or call to Ann Hoeppner at 515.444.6438. Please pay by check or cash when you pick up your order.

This delicious tradition supports our Good Samaritan Fund, an important part of Plymouth’s community outreach.
