Plymouth Young Adults – Plymouth Church

Overview & Mission

As Plymouth Young Adults, we recognize the necessity of devotion to God, our community, and each other. We endeavor to create a space where young adults can gather, socialize, and eventually belong. Plymouth Young Adults represents a commitment to ‘three-fold’ faith:

A faith that changes and is strengthened by spiritual development,
a faith that nurtures social relationships, and
a faith that is committed to relational and transformational service.

Plymouth Young Adults is specifically designed for young people in their 20s and 30s. The intent of this group is to provide the space for young adults to ask questions of our own experience; to be our whole, authentic selves while growing in love of God and neighbor.

Weekly Meetings

We meet the first, third, and fifth Thursdays of the month for “traditional” Bible Study. In keeping with the ‘three-fold’ faith vision for the group (spirituality, service, and social) the second week of the month is reserved for a service project and the fourth week of the month is reserved for a social outing.

Bible Study

Join us the first, third, and fifth Thursdays of the month for our bible study and potluck-style community dinner at 6:30 p.m. in the Burling Room. Beginning Nov. 3, the Bible Study will be replaced by a community building dinner after the Vesper Services, which began Oct. 13 and continue through the end of Advent.

Service

Plymouth Young Adults will participate in a service activity the second week of every month. Follow us on Facebook and join our email list-serv to receive announcements on dates and times.

Social
