High School (9th-12th)

The Board of Christian Education is excited to announce that Plymouth will begin offering new options for youth programming later this fall!

In addition to existing options like Matins, Conversations and Connections, the Variety Show, and lock-ins, we are also going to create new programming that includes meet-ups for dinner or coffee, social justice opportunities, theater and arts activities, Bible study, and small group discussions. Look for more information and opportunities to sign up after October 1.

Please note: All plans are subject to change as Plymouth continues to monitor the COVID pandemic. Precautions will be taken as necessary. HS Youth programming begins on Wednesday, September 8.

Conversations & Connections | Wednesdays at 4:45 p.m.
At Plymouth we encourage and develop spiritual growth among youth through safe and intimate small-group gathers. Join us from 4:45-5:45 p.m. in the Youth Room where we will discuss current events in relationship to our lives, seasonal observations, spiritual practices, getting involved in our community, and more. This group will be led by Rushing Kimball, Plymouth’s Associate Pastor.

HS Youth Dinners | Wednesdays at 6 p.m.
HS Youth Dinners return! Dinners are provided to all high school youth by parents every Wednesday night at 6 p.m. These dinners will be socially distanced and outside (when weather is permitting). More details to come.

HS Youth Lock In | January 15
This year’s Lock In is scheduled for January 15, 2022. The Lock In includes an evening of fun, games, movies, and food. Youth will sleep over at the church that night, with parent supervision.

Variety Show | March 8
Calling all singers, instrumentalists, actors, poets, and performers! What’s your talent? All youth grades 9-12 are invited to the Variety Show on March 8, 2022. This event is a Plymouth tradition led by the Matins Choir.

Senior Experience | February 6, 13, 20, & 27
This class is for all senior youth and their parents to discuss the ups, downs, joys, sorrows, and fears of the senior year, graduation, and the next step on the journey. At the end of the three-week (Feb. 6, 13, 20) series, seniors and parents will partake in the Senior Blessing at the Sunday, Feb. 27, 9 a.m. worship service.

How to Register

The form links below are for all children/youth (age 3 to grade 12) participating in the 2021-2022 program year. We have created two different forms. One form is for non-music programming, and one is for music programming. To help make things easy for you and our staff, please try to make only one submission for your family.
