Plymouth Congregational church, United Church of Christ, welcomes any couple desiring to marry. Our beautiful Sanctuary can seat more than 500 people. Our historic church also offers a beautiful backdrop for photos of your special day.
Getting married at Plymouth Church
If you wish to have a Plymouth wedding, first check the availability of the church on the dates you are considering by contacting Executive Assistant Dan Schott at 515.690.5014.
A Plymouth minister presides at all weddings in the church. We try to accommodate requests for a family member or a close friend who is a minister to participate in the wedding service.
The Plymouth minister leads couples through marriage preparation sessions, when the partners have an opportunity to consider the meaning of marriage, examine personal expectations, ask questions, and share in wedding service planning.
