Sept. 14: AMOS Delegate Assembly
AMOS will be hosting its Delegate Assembly on Sunday, Sept. 14 from 3 - 4 p.m. in Ankeny.
At the Delegate Assembly, we'll be asking institutions to commit to help us raise $18,000 to support AMOS' work through ad sales, auction donations, showcasing talent, or selling tickets.

Appetizer and dessert potluck social to follow the meeting. Plan to stick around to deepen connections with other action-oriented Iowans in a casual setting!
The first planning meeting for the variety show will be held on Thursday, September 18th at 5:30 p.m. via Zoom. There are so many ways to get involved: Advertising, Day-of Operations, Hospitality, Silent Auction, Talent, Ticketing, and more. This includes an organization-wide house meeting campaign leading towards a 1,000-Iowan 30th anniversary convention on August 30, 2026 to take our issue agenda into action with candidates and decision-makers. Click here for more detailed proposal.
Fall strategy to get ready for the 2026 campaign including a documentary screening on the history of the house meeting in the farm worker movement, clergy caucus, strategy workshops on how to organize house meetings to broaden "we the people", trainings on how to lead house meetings in your organization.
