Beginning March 30: Poetry at Plymouth!
Join Plymouth's Anti-Racism Committee, Welcoming Migrants Committee, and Pastor Luke for a 4-week poetry workshop, grounded in the work of poet Martin Espada.
Each week, we will start with a reading discussion, exploring Espada's prophetic voice. From there, we'll see what we can learn on a craft level from his poetry as we try writing our own in response. Our efforts will culminate in a group field trip to Martin Espada's workshop at DMACC when he is in Des Moines in April for Poetry Palooza.
