Flower Delivery Team Leader Needed
The Board of Congregational Care is seeking a new Flower Delivery Team Leader to help continue this meaningful ministry of care and connection.
Our Flower Delivery Team is a long-standing group of dedicated volunteers who deliver our weekly altar flowers to church members who could use a little extra encouragement. It's a simple but heartfelt way to brighten someone's day and remind them they are loved by their church family.
As the team leader, you would:
Partner with Pastor Erin to create the weekly list of flower recipients.
Coordinate volunteers through our well-organized quarterly Church Center sign-up calendar.
Send weekly reminders to volunteers.
Call recipients to confirm delivery details.
This flexible volunteer opportunity can be done on your own schedule and is a wonderful way to care for our congregation. It would also be a great role to share with a friend if you'd enjoy serving together!
To help make the transition smooth, our current Flower Delivery Team Leader is happy to mentor and work alongside the new leader until they feel confident in the role.
