Help us plan our All Saints Worship Service!
Plymouth seeks volunteers and lay leaders for an exciting new once-a-year worship service that is in the works, set to unfold at the Saturday Night service of All Saints weekend this Nov. 1.
Under the guidance of Pastor Luke, plans are nicely underway for a rich music and art filled service with "Day of the Dead" themes that will honor mourning for anyone who has died (not just this past year) ...but will also seek to create peace --and even joy.
Primarily during the early fall and particularly during the last week of October, volunteers will be critically needed to help implement the planning -and especially to help lead the work in a co-chair or tri-chair role. There will be very few meetings, with volunteer activities mostly focused on decorating the worship space, assisting with a short theatre component, and/or helping plan/implement a new pre-service potluck supper.
A short kick-off meeting for information (and where you can provide initial input and feedback) will be facilitated by Lorenzo Sandoval on Sunday, July 20, immediately following 10 a.m. worship.
