Coming up next: Join us on Thursday, Jan. 22 from 12-1 PM to hear from Maribel Slinde, a passionate advocate for senior health and caregivers, both paid and unpaid. She has worked her entire life in the caretaking field.

Bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Secondary Education; Master degree in Social Work.
Worked in both public health and in-home/community-based services for almost 35 years.
Began her career working as a Social Worker serving older adults and persons living with disabilities. Became a Director of Programs. Then spent the 20 years before she retired as the Executive Director of Generation Incorporated.
Served on several boards at the state level including the Alzheimer’s Taskforce and Dependent Adult Abuse board.
Served as the primary caregiver for her mother who lived independently until her death at the age of 100.
