Plymouth Gallery Exhibit

Plymouth Gallery’s New Temporary Home:

Due to the upcoming replacement of Plymouth’s flat roof above the Plymouth Gallery (facing Ingersoll Ave) and Greenwood/Burling later this fall, gallery art exhibits will be live in the new Waveland Gallery (hallway outside Waveland Hall) through January 2026.

On display now is a beautiful sun, each ray decorated by our campers at Creative Arts Camp this summer.

Upcoming Plymouth Gallery Exhibit

Next up in the temporary Waveland Gallery space will be Diane King’s exhibit on banned books will be installed on Saturday, Sept. 6 in our newly installed gallery space. Photography and collage images, each focusing on a banned book, created by New York artist Diane King, also creating under the name #Hashtag.

About #HASHTAG:

#HASHTAG [00100011] is a mixed-media conceptual artist and fine art photographer based in New York City and the Hudson Valley. A lifelong student of photography, they studied at The International School of Photography and the School of Visual Arts. Working across mediums and anonymously, #HASHTAG [00100011] confronts contemporary political and social issues, oftentimes catching the viewer in the penetrating glare of commentary. Works from the ongoing multi-media conceptual series The Treachery of Impermanence -- featuring the newest installation BANNED: HAZARDOUS MATERIALS -- are held in corporate and private collections across the country and abroad, most recently appearing during Armory Week at Art On Paper 2024 in New York City. In 2022, The Treachery of Impermanence was exhibited in Focus: Art and Social Justice at the Woodstock Artists Association & Museum.
