Aug. 7: Hiroshima and Nagasaki Reflections

Join us Thursday, Aug. 7 at 7 p.m. near the Japanese Bell south of the State Capitol. Parking is available in the Supreme Court Building lot, 1111 E. Court.

We come to remember this anniversary of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombings 80 years ago with speakers, music, laying of flowers and ringing of the Japanese Bell. Rain location: Capitol Hill Lutheran, 511 Des Moines St, Des Moines. Plymouth Peace and Justice Committee is a co-sponsor of this event. Please bring a chair, water, and flowers.
