Aug. 9: Hiroshima and Nagasaki Reflections

Join us Sunday, Aug. 9 at 7 p.m. near the Japanese Bell south of the State Capitol. Parking is available in the Supreme Court Building lot, 1111 E. Court.

We come to remember this anniversary of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombings 81 years ago with speakers, music, laying of flowers and ringing of the Japanese Bell and to recommit ourselves to Never Again.

Rain location: Capitol Hill Lutheran, 511 Des Moines St, Des Moines.
