Nov. 1: Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead)

All are invited to a special worship service and potluck on Saturday, Nov. 1, at 5 p.m. in Waveland Hall to commemorate All Saints Weekend.

Members of the Plymouth community have organized the evening's worship service to highlight the rich cultural traditions of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead).

Together, we'll lean into the mystery we observe as a church this time of year that our community includes the living and the dead, the cloud of witnesses who have gone before us in lives of faith.

Please note that this special service goes from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and includes a potluck followed by worship.

Build Your Own Ofrenda

Attendees will have the opportunity to create a “ofrenda” prior to the service. An ofrenda is a collection of objects assembled on an altar to remember loved ones who have passed.

If you’re invested in having ofrenda space, click here to register.

We’re also looking for volunteers to help with this new service! Volunteer duties will vary depending on the needs.
